Underbite

The upper teeth, in this situation, reside within the lower arch.  It can occur throughout the arch, or be isolated to either the front or the back.  Early correction of this condition is highly recommended.

This condition can be caused by

  • Over growth of the lower jaw
  • Undergrowth of your upper jaw
  • A combination of both
  • Flared lower incisor teeth
  • Habitual forward displacement of the lower jaw
