Overbite
The upper front teeth cover the lower front teeth excessively. In some cases the lower teeth may not even be seen due to this significant vertical overlap. This problem may include excessive display of gum tissue, lip protrusion or entrapment, and biting the roof of the mouth.

- Improper function of the front teeth
- Gum problems
- Unusual wear of lower front teeth
- Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) problems
- Unattractive smile
